The Porsche 981 GT4 is one of the greatest modern day mid engine cars on the road and racetrack. We produced 453HP at the crank using these headers and a tuned plenum! The tried and true Flat-6 power plant has proven itself as a bulletproof platform for modern day endurance race cars. The GT4 is not just a "car" that is driven from point A to point B, but a machine that is often pushed to its limits on twisty mountain roads or on the racetrack. When we set out to build the finest header system for the Porsche 981 GT4 models, we had a monumental task in order to create something better than what Porsche developed. We determined the shortcomings of the OEM system and made significant improvements to the exhaust flow characteristics. Our design helps equalize each cylinder's exhaust pulses for better exhaust scavenging and consistent exhaust temperatures. Our header design helps reduce exhaust restriction and temperatures for increased overall power while improving the header integrity.
