The Porsche 997 GT3/RS is one of the greatest modern day supercars on the road and racetrack. When we set out to build the finest header system for the Porsche 997 GT3 models, we had a monumental task in order to create something better than what Porsche developed. We determined the shortcomings of the OEM system and made significant improvements to the exhaust flow characteristics. Our design helps equalize each cylinder's exhaust pulses for better exhaust scavenging and consistent exhaust temperatures. Additionally, we paid close attention to the exhaust flow into the catalyst which has recently become a problem with the OEM headers. The flow of the factory exhaust manifolds into the catalyst has caused excessive heat which causes this premature catalyst failure and cracking of the factory header before the catalyst. These issues have been corrected in our header design which helps reduce exhaust restriction and temperatures for increased overall power while improving the header integrity.

Our modular design allows you to switch between 200cpsi high-flow HJS catalytic converters and test-pipes in a matter of minutes. With V-Band flanges, the swap can take place during your normal track-prep prior to a weekend of turning fuel into exhaust and rubber into smoke.

Ardent Custom Pipes are solely intended for track and race cars as they are NOT California Air Resources Board Certified and not EPA certified. Users may see check engine lights on OBD2 cars and it is recommended you install racing software to prevent fault codes and check engine lights.
